The diversion was failing due to a passive vertical screen that was out of compliance and could not handle high levels of debris present in the creek in the fall and spring.

FCA installed a comprehensive new screening system, including a Farmers Screen that was custom fit to an existing concrete structure. The new system includes:

new steel screen components
new connection to the main line
new sediment sluice
new fish return / by-pass structure

This diversion is a crucial link to the drinking water supplied to 1,100 households near Corbett, Oregon.
