FCA’s Community Investments
To honor the collaborative effort that made the Farmers Screen™ a reality, when Farmers Irrigation District licensed the Farmers Screen to FCA it was with the condition that profits, once realized, would be invested in other solutions, entrepreneurs, and ideas that benefit both the environment and agriculture. FCA’s intention is to launch a focused Community Investment effort in 2015.
In the interim, FCA has developed two community investment campaigns, Rural Roots and The Navigator, both of which are outreach campaigns promoting rural awareness, the benefits of agriculture, and resource conservation. In the future, along with a local community investment strategy, FCA is in the process of developing FCA Ventures, a vehicle for supporting regional and national entrepreneurs developing solutions that improve agricultural efficiencies and environmental conditions.
Over the next three years, as Farmers Sales continue to grow and surplus revenue is generated, FCA will continue to develop its local, regional, and national investment strategies.
